II. Summary/Objective:
The Creative Assistant plays a vital support role within the Marketing team, with a primary focus on assisting in the management of creative briefs, project status, and workflow in Asana, our project management platform. Reporting to the Creative Coordinator, this role ensures that all creative projects move smoothly through the pipeline while also helping manage and organize assets in our digital asset management system (Bynder). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, has time management plus communications skills and is eager to support a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment. The Creative Assistant will receive direction from and report directly to the Creative Coordinator.
III. Responsibilities:
Creative Project Support
Assist in managing project briefs, timelines, and updates in Asana
Support the Creative Coordinator in daily task tracking, meeting notes, and action item follow-ups
Coordinate with internal teams to gather missing details or assets needed to move projects forward
Help maintain an organized system for creative file delivery, approvals, and revisions
Digital Asset Management (Bynder)
Upload and organize creative assets in Bynder or equivalent DAM platform
Tag and update metadata for all assets to ensure easy searchability and accurate categorization
Build and maintain collections based on campaign needs, product categories, or store rollouts
Support team members by helping them locate and utilize approved assets
Creative Production Assistance
Assist with formatting, naming, and prepping files for final delivery across all mediums
Maintain up-to-date shot lists and creative concept documentation for imagery needs
Help gather inspiration references and organize mood boards as needed
Quality Control & Brand Consistency
Perform quality checks to ensure assets follow brand guidelines and are final-production ready
Assist in reviewing artwork drafts and flagging inconsistencies for correction
Team & Admin Support
Help manage creative calendars, team schedules, and meeting logistics
Support maintenance of organized documentation and signage plans
Assist with vendor image library management and usage tracking
IV. Requirements:
Degree (or pursing a degree) in Marketing, Graphic Design or Creative field
Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive, Google Docs
Knowledge in Asana or any other similar Project Management software
Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
Quick learner in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects from initiation through completion
Organizational skills
Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as contribute to collective team goals
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in a diverse environment
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities as well as work across organizational boundaries and participate in cross-functional projects
Experience writing, proofreading and/or editing a plus
Proactively seeks guidance, clarification, and feedback from management and team members
