Inventory Planning Specialist

I. Summary/Objective:

The Inventory Planning Specialist will work with the Inventory Planning Coordinator to ensure efficient demand planning,

allocation, and replenishment of inventory to all distribution centers and retail stores.

II. Responsibilities:

? Supports the Inventory Coordinator with analytics needed to process, predict and analyze product demand

? Partners with Merchandising to maintain visibility to upcoming promotions, and initiatives that may impact seasonality and sales demand.

? Support re-forecasting & re-trending as needed on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, based on demand.

? Pulls and analyzes reporting needed to alert Inventory Coordinator of strong and slow sellers, and makes

recommendations to optimize inventory productivity.

? Monitors and provides supplier performance insights to Inventory Coordinator to enable achievement of key

performance metrics.

? Supports the store’s inventory requests via Service Now tickets

? Maintains updated and accurate data in all inventory trackers.

? Audits reporting as needed to guarantee accuracy of data and make recommendations for improvement.

? International logistics and transportation management.

? Supports action plans and current process to guarantee that the department goals accomplishments are achieved.

III. Education and Experience:

? 1 year minimum experience in supply chain and planning.

? Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.

? Experience in replenishment systems.

? Excellent optimization mindset

? Incoterms Knowledge

? Advanced Excel skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office

? Advanced English written and communication Skills.

? Multitasking and detail oriented.

? Strong communication and analytical skills

? SQL knowledge is a plus
